Jan Wilson, Headteacher Southbroom Infants’ School
Jan is Headteacher at Southbroom Infants’ School, with responsibility for the management and leadership of the school and school site. She is, of course, heavily involved in the development and delivery of Devizes Community Children’s Centre.
Trixie Avery, Devizes Community Children’s Centre Manager
Trixie is responsible for the development and leadership of the Children’s Centre. She makes sure that the co-ordinated services meet local need, and particularly focusing on families in greatest need of support. Trixie manages the use of the Centre, Centre staff, volunteers and outreach services.
Leisha Berqgvist & Sarah Garbutt
Leisha & Sarah support Jan, the teaching staff at the school, and Children’s Centre staff, by helping with day to day teaching requirements, site management and service delivery.

When you first come to the Centre you will be met by members of our admin team, who support both the school and the Children's Centre. They will do everything they can to help you and will make you very welcome.
Mandy Jones, Family Support Coordinator
Mandy is leading the establishment of a Family Support Service which offers flexible, easily-accessed support for families in times of need. You might well meet Mandy at a Toddler Group, if you come along to the Stay and Play sessions at the Centre, or ask for a home visit.
Stephanie Davis, Extended Schools Network Coordinator
Stephanie supports Primary and Secondary schools in developing their extended services to 5-19 year olds. Key to children’s engagement is consulting them and involving parents and children, and this is one of a number of areas Stephanie is involved in. Stephanie’s work overlaps with the Children Centre and she works closely with us to develop coordinated activities for families with children aged 0-19.
Home Start Kennet
Home Start are now co-located in the Children’s Centre. They are here on a Tuesday & Friday each week in between visits and training sessions.
Victoria Eardley, Children’s Centre Champion
Tori is a local, very active parent with two children under 5. Tori is working with the centre to develop a children’s café that will be accessible to parents and she will be sharing the healthy eating message and encouraging mums to breastfeed.
Belle Wiles, Children’s Centre Champion, parent and baby yoga instructor
A local mum of two, Belle is very keen to launch a yoga course in the centre and help us promote the importance of health and wellbeing for children and parents.
Community Forum – Steering group
From time to time you may bump into one of our many colleagues and friends who make up visiting team. These will include the Midwifery service, co-ordinators and managers from local toddlers groups and preschools, The Sycamore Centre, Wiltshire College, Churches, and Wiltshire County Council.
